  • Mission

Science fiction isn't about predicting the future—it's about holding up a mirror to our present. At Galactic Horizon, we treated sci-fi as a serious literary genre, a lens for critical thought. Our mission was to move beyond mere fandom and create a platform where young readers could dissect the ethics of AI, the politics of dystopias, and the human condition in a technological age.

    My Role

I am the vice president. I co-established the journal's workflow, from manuscript submission to final publication, creating a system that empowered our 15-member team to collaborate asynchronously yet cohesively.

As editor on Wechat Official Account, I wasn't just a proofreader. I was a narrative architect. I reviewed 20+ submissions monthly, making critical decisions on which voices and ideas deserved a platform. My focus was on pieces that used sci-fi as a tool to explore identity, society, and ethics.

I personally authored two long-form reviews, on Dune and Brave New World, to set the standard for critical analysis and spark deeper discussion within our community.
